Selection Criteria

  1. Qualifications in accordance with Schedule C of the NSW Health Service Health Professionals (State) Award or Public Health System Nurses and Midwives (State) Award and current registration with a relevant Registration Board (AHPRA), or membership or eligible for membership of relevant recognised profession body and demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional learning.
  2. Demonstrated core competency skills in comprehensive assessment of frail older people as community clients or inpatients.
  3. Demonstrated high level written, verbal and interpersonal skills, to both engage patients/clients and work effectively with the multi-disciplinary team.
  4. Demonstrated ability to proactively engage with patients/clients to enhance service delivery and to guide others in providing service excellence.
  5. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and apply professional and ethical boundaries when dealing with complex situations.
  6. Proficient skills in professional and clinical digital technologies i.e. eMR, CHOC, My Aged Care, Microsoft Office applications.
  7. Detailed knowledge and understanding of risk management, safety and quality principles and the role of the Clinical Assessor in applying these principles.
  8. Current unrestricted NSW drivers licence and willingness to travel in accordance with the demands of the position.
