  1. Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience as per clinical discipline and current full AHPRA registration (or eligibility for membership of AASW for Social Workers). Social Work / Occupational Therapy requires experience as a level 2 clinician. Clinical Nurse Consultant will have a minimum of 5 years full time post graduate experience. In addition, the applicant must have an approved post graduate qualification and substantial relevant experience to the specialty. Clinical Psychologist will have a postgraduate Masters or Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from an APAC accredited University.
  2. Experience and knowledge of assessment, crisis management and effective care planning with children and young people experiencing significant mental health difficulties including highly complex, co-morbid clinical presentations and associated high levels of risk.
  3. Demonstrated ability to provide expert clinical consultancy, networking and communicating across a range of key internal and external stakeholders.
  4. Strengths based practices that promote trauma and recovery focused care and supporting shared decision-making processes in developing care plans.
  5. Leadership skills with an ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and capacity to act as an independent consultant with excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
