Essential Criteria:
Qualification: A Certificate 3, Diploma or degree qualification which meets the criteria defined in Children’s Services Education and Care Services National Regulation 2011
Selection Criteria:
- Certificate 3 Children’s Services, or Diploma Children’s Services, or Early Childhood Teacher qualification or equivalent which meet the criteria defined in Children’s Services Education and Care Services National Regulation 2011
- Applied knowledge of early education and care with reference to the Early Years Learning Framework.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute in a team teaching situation.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a team of educators to deliver an education and care service
- Approved child protection qualification (Statement of Attainment)
- Current first aid and emergency anaphylaxis and asthma qualifications/training
- A working knowledge of operational requirements and understanding of the provision of education and care to children.
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills.
