At Central Coast Local Health District our strategic vision is Trusted Care.  Better health for everyone.  We’re currently seeking a Sleep Technician to join the dedicated team in our Respiratory Investigation Unit. This flexible casual role is perfect for those seeking work-life balance.

About the Role

The Sleep Technician role is based at Gosford Hospital, offering flexible shifts on Tuesday and Wednesday nights from 5:30pm to 10:30pm, and 10.15pm to 6:45am. During peak demand periods, additional shifts may be available on Monday and Thursday afternoons.


In this role, you’ll be responsible for setting up and monitoring patients undergoing overnight sleep investigations for the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders. If you have a background in physiology and previous experience working with patients, we’d love to hear from you!

About You

You have previous experience in a sleep laboratory or have a willingness to undergo training.

  • You are flexible and open to evening and overnight shifts to support patient care.
  • You are detail-oriented and accurate, with a demonstrated ability to follow procedures and effectively use information technologies.
