About the Role
You will be based at Gosford Hospital working Monday to Friday 08:00am to 4:30pm. As the leading healthcare provider in the region, Central Coast Local Health District is well known for its dedication to high quality patient care and community services. CCLHD provides the community of the Central Coast with a caring environment dedicated to improving the patient journey.
The position works as a member of the Performance and Analytics (P&A) team within the Health Information and Business Support division (HIBS). HIBS is responsible for delivery of information analytics and performance reporting outcomes to support the achievement of organisational objectives and Caring for the Coast.
The Senior Performance Analyst provides key expert advice on the analysis and interpretation of data including the applicability to improving organisational performance and patient outcomes. The role is accountable for supervising and mentoring a team of data analysts responsible for the application of data and reporting products and providing support to ensure they meet or exceed stakeholder requirements.

About You
- A degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Data Analytics or a related field, and/or demonstrated extensive experience with a track record of success in a similar role and a current Class C driver's license and willingness to travel.
- Demonstrated extensive experience in the acquisition of complex health data in a health organisation to various stakeholder groups with demonstrated high level of understanding Business Analytics Software and Query Languages.
- Demonstrated extensive experience in the interpretation and analysis of health care data and the ability to develop relevant, quality, user friendly reports that provide insights to effect change across health care, at both an operational and strategic level, with the ability and willingness to develop competence in new data sets and learn new technologies, as directed.
