This is a maternity relief position and should the permanent incumbent require an early return from maternity leave, this contract of employment will cease with two weeks notice. Maternity relief positions can be for a period of up to 12 months, with the possibility of continued employment for up to a further 12 months for maternity leave reduced hours, therefore there are no claims to permanency.

As a key member of our multidisciplinary palliative care team, your role will be pivotal in the delivery high quality, evidenced based care to our patients and their family/carers.
About the Role
This position will primarily be based at Gosford Hospital. The purpose of this position is to provide Physiotherapy service in the inpatient Palliative Care unit. As part of the inpatient Physiotherapy team, you may also work across other clinical areas including but not limited to medical, surgical, oncology, neurology and aged care.

About You
- You hold a Bachelors or postgraduate degree in Physiotherapy and registration as a Physiotherapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulatory Agency with expertise in broad generalist and/or specialist knowledge within physiotherapy.
- You have a current unencumbered Drivers Licence and the ability to travel across the District as required.
- You have varied and extensive clinical Physiotherapy experience including experience in provision of Palliative Care Physiotherapy.
