About the Role

As a Patient Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in our multidisciplinary healthcare team, ensuring a clean and safe environment across both clinical and non-clinical areas. Your responsibilities will include maintaining cleanliness in inpatient units and high-touch areas, assisting in the transfer and transport of patients using beds and wheelchairs, and supporting nursing staff with patient care tasks to ensure patient comfort.

This role requires a compassionate and empathetic individual with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Flexibility to work across a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays, is essential – shifts ranging from 6.00am to 10.00pm. About You

  • You are comfortable engaging with patients, visitors, and staff in a warm and respectful manner.
  • You are familiar with maintaining cleanliness in healthcare or commercial settings, ensuring a safe environment.
  • You are able to follow instructions and collaborate effectively to support patient care and facility operations.
