Our Mental Health Acute Services team plays a critical role in supporting individuals during some of their most vulnerable times. We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and visionary Nurse Manager to lead our multidisciplinary team and drive excellence in acute mental health care.

 

About the Role

The Nurse Manager provides strategic leadership and oversight of nursing staff across designated Acute Mental Health teams at Gosford and Wyong . This role is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care, while managing the operational aspects of nursing and addressing clinical issues that may affect patient outcomes through a comprehensive risk management approach. 

The role will lead, operationally manage and supervise mental health positions that report to it in the delivery of best practice contemporary patient care with the teams that they lead. This management of teams will include PACER, EDMHT (North and South) and the Acute Care Teams (North and South)

About You

  •       Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse (Division 1)
  • Current unrestricted NSW Driver's licence.
  • You are available to work Monday to Friday
