 Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD) is on the lookout for a motivated and detail-driven Administration Officer Level 3 to join our Mental Health Services team on a temporary full-time basis. This is your opportunity to play a key behind-the-scenes role, helping to deliver exceptional care to our community by providing crucial administrative support in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.

  

About the Role

In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the unit by managing front desk reception duties, maintaining accurate and confidential patient records, coordinating appointments, and providing responsive support to both staff and consumers with professionalism and empathy. Your excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities will be vital in supporting clinical and operational workflows within a dynamic mental health care setting.

You’ll be part of a friendly and collaborative administration team, with ample opportunities to enhance your skills and grow professionally in a supportive and inclusive environment. A comprehensive orientation and ongoing training will be provided to ensure you feel confident and well-supported in your role.

This is a full-time, Monday to Friday position, with regular hours from 8:00am to 4:30pm – no weekend work required.

About You

  • Proven administrative experience in a healthcare or fast-paced office environment
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Familiarity with hospital systems, policies, or medical terminology is desirable
  • Current NSW Drivers Licence
