Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD) is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated professional to join our team as the Manager of the Medical Workforce and Education Unit. Based across both Gosford and Wyong Hospitals, this senior leadership role is critical to the successful delivery of medical workforce services across the District.
This senior position is responsible for the overall management of medical workforce administration functions, including medical staff education and training, junior medical officer (JMO) wellbeing and support, JMO and career medical officer (CMO) recruitment and retention, senior medical workforce management, rostering and payroll for JMOs and CMOs, as well as performance and financial oversight.
The role involves both strategic and operational leadership, with responsibility for developing and managing policies, systems, procedures, and governance frameworks that support the effective delivery of medical workforce services. It requires a high level of autonomy, advanced analytical and project management capabilities, and proven leadership experience. The Senior Manager will also provide expert advice and high-level support to the District Director of Medical Services and medical managers across the Central Coast Local Health District.

- You have senior management experience and relevant business qualifications, or equivalent expertise, managing complex and high-demand medical workforce environments.
- You have proven leadership skills with the ability to drive continuous improvement, lead change initiatives, and provide strategic advice that enhances workforce outcomes.
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
