Key Responsibilities:
- Direct Clinical Care: Deliver expert clinical services to clients with eating disorders, including assessment, treatment, and ongoing support.
- Consultation & Liaison: Provide professional consultation and liaise with healthcare providers regarding the management of eating disorders.
- Clinical Leadership: Offer senior-level expertise in the development and implementation of specialized eating disorder care practices, ensuring adherence to the EDOS Model of Care.
- Cultural Change: Advocate for and promote increased awareness and understanding of eating disorders across the health district, encouraging cultural transformation in care delivery.
An Eligibility List (E-List) or talent pool may be created from this recruitment episode to assist in filling future permanent, temporary, or casual full-time and part-time positions.

About You
- You have a Tertiary degree and current full registration with APHRA or eligible for membership of relevant professional body as either a Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, Dietitian, Registered Nurse, Registered Clinical Psychologist or Snr Psychologist, Counsellor- (Bachelor of Health Science Mental Health-Djirruwang program) and maintenance of such.
- You have a current and unrestricted NSW Drivers Licence.
- You have extensive post graduate experience either working within Mental Health or a specialist Eating Disorders service with demonstrated knowledge of disordered eating, body image and related social and cultural issues.
Where you'll be working
Join the CCLHD Eating Disorders Outpatient Service and work within a multi-disciplinary team consisting of a clinical psychologist, dietitians, a mental health social worker and Clinical Nurse Specialist.
This role involves providing specialist eating disorder services, liaison and consultation to other clinicians as well as providing assessment, brief intervention, treatment, referral and support for people of all ages with eating disorders and their families and carers.
The Eating Disorders Outpatient Service (EDOS) is the primary source of support information and treatment for people with eating disorders and their families on the Central Coast.
EDOS provides a service that strives for excellence of care in a safe nurturing environment to enhance recovery with hope, acceptance and freedom.
