About You
- You have current authority to practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- You have extensive recent post registration clinical experience in the provision of palliative care at an advanced level.
- You have demonstrated skills in clinical teaching using an understanding of the Principles of Adult Learning and incorporating Evidence Based Practice.
Where You’ll Be Working
The Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) will play a key role in promoting evidence-based best practices by coordinating, facilitating, and delivering clinical education to nursing staff within the Palliative Care Unit. In collaboration with the Nursing Unit Manager (NUM) and Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC), the CNE will assess, develop, implement, and evaluate clinical education programs to meet the ongoing staff development needs and enhance the clinical skills of the nursing team.
Working closely with key stakeholders, the CNE is responsible for facilitating and supporting the development and maintenance of nursing staff's clinical knowledge and skills, ensuring alignment with mandatory requirements, ANCI competencies, and relevant policies and procedures.
