How to apply
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria in the application as thoroughly as possible:

  • Previous commercial catering experience or demonstrated ability to cook for large numbers and special diets.
  • Certificate in Use of Hygienic Practices for Food Safety or willingness to obtain.
  • Demonstrated Knowledge of Food Safety Act including Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) principles. Strong understanding of Work Health and Safety in the work place, including Infection Control principles and Manual Hazardous Tasks.
  • Ability to work without supervision and as part of a team with the ability to work shift work, including early starts.
  • Experience in stock control, ordering and rostering.
  • Ability to work in culturally sensitive manner.
  • Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills.
