- MBBS or equivalent, current Registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Minimum of 3 years Obstetrics and Gynaecology experience with demonstrated procedural skills and experience
- Demonstrated skills, judgement and expertise in the care of patients requiring obstetric or gynaecological care including performance of procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a complex clinical environment.
- Demonstrated teamwork, time management and problem solving skills in a clinical setting and in multidisciplinary health care team.
- Demonstrated supervision of junior medical staff and participation in teaching and training at undergraduate and/or post graduate level.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuing self-education and development, including evidence of participation in continuing medical education/continuing professional development.
- Demonstrated interest and willingness to be involved in quality and safety initiatives and research.
