An exciting opportunity exists for Cardiac Physiologists with a strong interest in joining a very experienced and dedicated team in our casual pool.  Aspiring candidates should be able to work independently in a minimum of one area of Diagnostic Cardiology or Cath Lab.

Where you'll be working
Royal North Shore Hospital, Cardiology Department.

What you'll be doing

Cardiac Physiology – Stress Tests, Holter Monitors, 12-Lead ECGs and Tilt Table tests.


Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

  1. Consistently demonstrates behaviours that reinforce the CORE Values of our organisation; Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment. Demonstrates these behaviours with all stakeholders; colleagues, direct reports, as well as our patients and consumers, and those that care for them.
  2. Holds a Bachelor of Science Degree or qualifications or competencies deemed equivalent by the employer.
  3. Experience with - ECG, Holter Monitoring, Stress Testing, Tilt Table Testing.
  4. Computer knowledge, including data processing and trouble shooting skills.
  5. Ability to participate in rotational on-call for urgent coronary angiography and stress testing.
  6. Experience or exposure to Cardiac Catheterisation laboratory, Pacemaker/Defibrillator clinic, Electrophysiology Laboratory and/or Echocardiography Laboratory.
  7. Cardiac Laboratory skills including physiological measurements/haemodynamic monitoring with the ability to troubleshoot.
  8. Effective and professional communication skills.
