Selection Criteria
- Relevant tertiary qualification and/or extensive relevant experience and achievement at a senior level in the management of capital projects in a complex and multi-site organisation.
- Demonstrated high level leadership and strategic development skills. Including knowledge and experience in strategic decision, capacity to set priorities, successfully managing competing projects and work assignments and meet deadlines. Experience in organisational re-design and change management, as related to capital works projects.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully engage with, members of the Executive team, Clinicians and other senior managers and stakeholders to deliver on organisation objectives. Demonstrated ability to successfully engage with external authorities as necessary to deliver infrastructure for the organisation.
- Demonstrated ability to manage various consultants and service providers to deliver successful on time and within budget projects.
- Well developed analytical, conceptual, problem solving and strategic capabilities with high level planning and organisational skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in capital planning and project delivery, including experience in resource allocation, forward planning, quality controls and risk management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the capacity to lead change initiatives, high level negotiation skills and ability to produce complex reports, business cases and briefings.
- Working knowledge of risk management and Occupational Health and Safety requirements.
