- Relevant experience in health, procurement, business management or a related discipline including an understanding of NSW Health’s procurement policies and guidelines.
- Thorough understanding and extensive management experience in procurement and supply chain and the management of vendor relations particularly within the community environment
- Strong understanding of business and financial management systems, and demonstrated ability to provide detailed advice about business systems and processes as well influencing and negotiating with stakeholders to gain input and commitment to business reforms.
- Superior analytical and conceptual skills, including well developed problem solving and project management skills with the ability to formulate business plans, strategy and policy within a complex service delivery environment.
- Superior level of communication, negotiation and leaderships skills with all levels of staff, customers and suppliers including demonstrated ability to facilitate the development of long term business partnerships and relationships, while successfully achieving commercial outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience with and leadership of major change management programs or projects designed to improve service delivery, reduce costs and increase financial viability within a complex organisational environment
- Proven effectiveness leading a team, developing capability of staff, and coaching and advising managers, whilst always fostering a performance based and customer focused work culture.
