Essential Criteria:
Registration: Current Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse or Registered Nurse Practitioner
Selection Criteria:
- Masters of Nursing (Nurse Practitioner) or a qualification (Masters level) deemed appropriate by WSLHD or working towards same.
- Demonstrated expert knowledge and application of skill required in contemporary BTCT nursing practice
- Clinical proficiency in patient assessment and treatment within the specialty
- Demonstrated ability to confidently apply extended clinical practice within the BTCT environment that is autonomous and collaborative while remaining within scope of practice
- Demonstrated excellent leadership, teaching and collaborative skills with evidence of participation in research and quality activities
- Excellent written communication skills that include the ability to write detailed clinical documents and prescriptions
- Excellent verbal communication skills evidenced in clinical practice, education and training
- Demonstrated ability to use knowledge and skills of extended practice within a complex and innovative environment
