Blood Transplant and Cell Therapy Nurse Practitioner/Transitional Nurse Practitioner

Essential Criteria:

Registration: Current Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse or Registered Nurse Practitioner

Selection Criteria:

1. Masters of Nursing (Nurse Practitioner) or a qualification (Masters level) deemed appropriate by WSLHD or working towards same.
2. Demonstrated expert knowledge and application of skill required in contemporary BTCT nursing practice
3. Clinical proficiency in patient assessment and treatment within the specialty
4. Demonstrated ability to confidently apply extended clinical practice within the BTCT environment that is autonomous and collaborative while remaining within scope of practice
5. Demonstrated excellent leadership, teaching and collaborative skills with evidence of participation in research and quality activities
6. Excellent written communication skills that include the ability to write detailed clinical documents and prescriptions
7. Excellent verbal communication skills evidenced in clinical practice, education and training
8. Demonstrated ability to use knowledge and skills of extended practice within a complex and innovative environment
