The Opportunity
Provision of planned and corrective maintenance to biomedical equipment & engineering services in health care facilities serviced by Mid North Coast Local Health District in accordance with relevant policies, procedures and standards and in particular AS3551 - Management programs for medical equipment. Provide professional advice on biomedical equipment and biomedical engineering services across Mid North Coast Local Health District.
Do you have a Diploma in Electrical/Electric Engineering; or qualifications and experience deemed equivalent. Can you demonstrate working knowledge and experience with biomedical equipment in a clinical environment and have proven analytical skills in fault finding and problem solving in general electronics? The Organisation
The Mid North Coast Local Health District (MNCLHD) is a government funded health organisation that covers an area of 11,335 square kilometres extending from Port Macquarie in the south to Coffs Harbour in the north. MNCLHD provides a diverse range of services to a population of approximately 215,000 people. It has a workforce of 4,964 across seven hospitals sites and 12 Community Health Centres.

Salary will be accordance with NSW Health State Awards for the advertised classification/s. These awards are available at http://www.health.nsw.gov.au/careers/conditions/pages/default.aspx.
A TALENT POOL MAY BE CREATED FOR FUTURE ROLES AND WILL REMAIN VALID FOR 18 MONTHS.
Candidates will be required to respond to three (3) targeted questions below and will be assessed against the essential requirements and selection criteria contained within the Position Description.
- Detail your tertiary qualifications and working experience within the fields of electronic/biomedical engineering.
- Specify the electronic equipment/medical devices that you have worked on and provide two examples of proven analytical skills in fault finding and problem solving.
- Demonstrated effective oral and written communication with key stakeholders and describe your experiences with service reporting/database entry.
