What you will bring to the role:
- Possess qualifications in Electronics equivalent to AQF6 as a minimum combined with industry experience in the Healthcare Environment. Example qualifications include Biomedical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Advanced/Associate Diploma in Electronic Engineering or equivalent qualification with experience appropriate to the position.
- Be technically competent and have good knowledge of both analog and digital electronics as applied to medical devices.
- Demonstrated ability to fault find and repair electronic & electromechanical circuitry to component level.
- Demonstrated experience with electrical safety procedures and experience in working with and to standards, guidelines, best practices, processes and the application of risk management principles to the safety of medical equipment as used in a Hospital Environment.
- Ability to work as part of a team and be an active participant in information sharing and collaboration with a willingness to contribute to departmental goals and KPIs.
- Possess high level communication skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders from differing technical, non-technical and nursing backgrounds via written and oral form in English.
- Strong ability to utilise computer software & database applications.
- Current Drivers Licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel.
