Remuneration: $73,427 - $104,753 per annum

What you'll be doing
Join the Transcultural Mental Health Centre’s specialist clinical team and support mental health service providers through culturally responsive consultation, advice, and short-term intervention for people from culturally and linguistically diverse communities. Responsibilities include:
- Providing frontline intake, triage, advice and in-language consultation
- Sharing culturally relevant resources and information with service providers
- Supporting clinical consultations and follow up on care coordination
- Maintaining accurate clinical data and contribute to written reports
- Utilising bilingual skills to enhance culturally safe mental health care

Essential Requirements:
Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Social Work
Registration: Eligibility for the Membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
Selection Criteria:
- At least 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health (or related) setting
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with a wide range of service providers and networks
- Demonstrated understanding of mental health experiences related to migrant and refugee populations
- Experience in cross cultural clinical practice, utilising interpreters and or bilingual skills in mental health practice
- Knowledge of a wide range of mental health networks and services
- High level of verbal and written communication skills in English and in one or more other languages and experience in using bilingual skills in health/social service setting
- Excellent time management, organisation and computer skills including word processing and use of data bases with attention to detail.
- Current NSW driver’s licence
