Selection Criteria

  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Recent management experience with experience in leading staff and managing services in the relevant setting, supported by a relevant tertiary management qualification and/or work experience
  • Demonstrated well developed leadership skills and highly developed communication skills including the ability to manage conflicts and performance issues when they arise
  • Demonstrated experience in managing key priorities and delivering successful strategies to deliver service outcomes and KPI's within tightly defined resources
  • Demonstrated ability to undertake planning for and monitor performance in areas of responsibility for both individuals and teams
  • Demonstrated ability to identify the need for and initiate the development of policy relating to the nursing service.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage change and guide others through change processes
