  1. Tertiary qualifications in a health, business, research, or academic related field with significant subsequent experience in a health, research or academic environment, or at least 8 years equivalent work experience.

  2. Demonstrated experience in project/program management, financial management and excellent organisational skills

  3. Demonstrated understanding of research ethics and good clinical governance requirements.

  4. Demonstrated leadership capability to lead change, manage and support change and innovation.

  5. Demonstrated excellent networking and influencing skills, and ability to negotiate and develop productive working and collaborative relationships with a range of health professionals and stakeholders.

  6. Exceptional communication skills including high level report writing, strong presentation skills and demonstrated ability to impart complex content and issues in an engaging and informative style.

  7. Demonstrated high level analytical, planning, and conceptual skills.

  8. Advanced user of computer software packages including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), Adobe, financial software, and database systems.
