Associate Genetic Counsellor Level 1 / 2- SCH Randwick- Temporary
- Post graduate qualification in genetic counselling and/or have attained “Board eligible” status in genetic counselling from the Human Genetics Society of Australasia (HGSA). Demonstrated skills and knowledge in the provision of genetic counselling services
- Demonstrated understanding of the application of genomic medicine in clinical care and research
- Demonstrated advanced reasoning skills with ability to problem solve, prioritise work and meet deadlines
- Proven ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and operate autonomously with minimal direct clinical supervision
- Demonstrated well developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated computer literacy and ability to use health information systems
- Commitment to ongoing education and completion of certification as a genetic counsellor by the Human Genetics Society of Australasia
