Selection Criteria
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in accounting or relevant equivalent work experience in management accounting or a combination of study and work experience
- Sound understanding of management accounting with demonstrated high level analytical and problem solving skills including, implementation of corrective actions, the ability to provide authoritative advice and recommendations across a large and complex organisation
- Demonstrated experience in monitoring financial performance and provide support and advice on financial and budget management issues with a commitment to customer service
- Demonstrated skills in managing a number of projects concurrently with varying timeframes and workloads in a high volume environment.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication, interpersonal and influencing skills, including the ability to communicate financial information succinctly to a range of audiences.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with senior management, and other key stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience in reporting, budgeting, planning, forecasting and evaluation at strategic and service levels
- Demonstrated extensive experience and proficiency in using Financial Management systems as well as advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications.
