About the role

Lilli Pilli Older Persons Mental Health Inpatient Unit is seeking an Assistant in Nursing to join the team in Lismore. The Assistant in Nursing provides direct care to patients in the Older Person Mental Health Unit in accordance with the nursing care plan and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, including assisting with patient care interventions as directed and maintaining accurate health care documentation as required. The Older Person Mental Health Unit provides acute psychiatric care to patients over the age of 65 years. The successful applicants would be expected to undertake further training in management of older persons’ mental health and other risk factors.
