About the role: 

As an Assistant in Nursing within the Medical Unit 2 team, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of exceptional patient care under the supervision and guidance of a Registered Nurse. Working within an established plan of care, you will provide safe, compassionate, and person-centred support while remaining accountable for your own actions in line with NSW Health guidelines, local policies, and the Assistant in Nursing position description.

Additional information:

  • Undergraduate Enrolled Nursing Students Undergraduate Enrolled Nursing students must have completed the identified foundational units in practice, AND 80 hours of clinical placement as part of enrolment in the TAFE NSW Diploma of Nursing to be eligible for recruitment as an AIN.
  • An eligibility list will be created for future permanent full or part time and temporary full or part time vacancies. 
  • This position is full time; however, part time/job share arrangements may also be considered.
