An excellent opportunity is available for an Assistants In Nursing to join the Intensive Care Unit Team in either a Full Time or Part Time position at Nepean Hospital. (working across Monday - Friday)
The successful incumbent will provide individualised excellent patient/client care within a health service environment to maximise the health outcomes for a patient/client, under the supervision and direction of the Registered Nurse. All staff are expected to act as an appropriate and effective role model, promoting a culture that supports practices that reflect the NSW Health CORE values of Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment through demonstrated behaviours and interactions with patients, clients and employees.

What you will bring to the role
- Current enrolment at Western Sydney University Batchelor of Nursing course leading to registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1)
- Demonstrated understanding of team nursing and ability to work effectively as part of the multidisciplinary health care team.
- Demonstrated interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of person-centred care and evidence-based practice
- Demonstrates ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Consistently demonstrate behaviours that reinforce the CORE values of the organisation: Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage conflict situations in a calm and professional manner.
