About the Role:

The Inverell dialysis department is an 8-chair unit that operates 6 days per week. Shift length will range from 4hrs to 8hrs depending on workload, however you will get to enjoy operating during day shift hours. You will be providing compassionate, person-centred support to dialysis patients, ensuring their comfort and dignity during their treatment. On any given day, you’ll be weighing patients, undertaking observations, and preparing and cleaning chairs and equipment.

You won’t be working alone. You’ll be part of a small but very friendly team within the unit and will be provided a thorough orientation to the facility as part of the onboarding process. You will be provided all of the education required for the role, and for the right candidate, you may be offered work in other clinical areas of the facility including medical ward and day surgery.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III Assistant in Nursing or currently enrolled in an undergraduate Registered Nursing degree (completion of first year and first semester or trimester of second year) or have equivalent experience.
