About the role:
The role of the Assistant in Nursing [AIN] within Mental Health Drug and Alcohol [MHDA] Services is to support both the nursing and multidisciplinary team under the direction of a Registered Nurse [RN]. The AIN assists in the provision of nursing care to mental health patients within an acute care setting and provides within their identified tasks direct patient care activities that support the recovery of acute mental health patients under the supervision of a RN. The role also involves the collecting of health care information, documenting and communicating the information back to the RN.

Where you’ll be working:
T-Basis unit is a 16-bed unit that provides specialised inpatient care to people suffering behaviours and psychological symptoms of Dementia in the Northern /New England area.
We are seeking committed and enthusiastic casual AINs to come and join our wonderful team. The T-Basis unit is responsible for providing specialist care to patients suffering with dementia and neurocognitive issues. Our team is committed to providing excellent care to our patients and their families.
