About the role
In this role you will assist patients and clients with activities of daily living and provide physical and psychological comfort and support, to assist them to meet their health needs.
You will work in collaboration with the registered nurse to assist with assessment, including a range of observations to improve understanding of the patients health status, as the basis for planning and monitoring care.
Participates in a collaborative care model, communicating effectively with patients, carers and other healthcare team members regarding nursing care, to support outcomes which meet patient/ client needs. Collaborates and assists with delivering nursing care to promote attainment of planned outcomes, in line with scope of practice, as delegated by the Registered Nurse.
Parkes has a population of approx. 10,000 and is 100kms from Orange and 115kms from Dubbo. Parkes offers country living in a friendly town with all the services and amenities you need.
