Where you'll be working:
This newly created role will support Allied Health Professionals working across the inpatient units at Maitland Hospital. The position will contribute to services including Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Social Work, Dietetics, and Speech Pathology.

Maitland Hospital is a modern, state-of-the-art facility delivering high-quality, contemporary care. Our Allied Health teams collaborate closely with each other and with the broader multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional care to the local community.

With anticipated growth in our Allied Health Assistant workforce, we are looking to establish an eligibility list for upcoming full-time and part-time permanent and temporary positions.

About the role:
This role offers a diverse range of responsibilities in supporting Allied Health Professionals, as outlined in the position description. No two days will be the same—bringing variety, challenge, and the opportunity to make a real impact.

The role will initially report to the Director of Allied Health, with additional guidance provided by the Site Senior for each Allied Health discipline. A thorough induction program will be conducted to ensure the successful candidate is well-prepared and confident in their responsibilities. Ongoing clinical supervision and support will be provided to promote continued development and competence in the role.
