About the role
Molong MPS is looking for an enthusiastic and caring person to join our staff in the role of Activities Officer.
The role is spread over the working week with a minimum of 4 hours per day to support ongoing activities both within the facility and in the wider community. The exact hours are to be determined through negotiation with your manager.
You would be working with up to 20 residents who have a varied level of skills and interests, as part of a wider team of workers in the facility.
Direct support, access to ongoing education and mentoring to grow within the role will be part of the commitment of the facility. The role will report to the HSM with ongoing close relationship with the Nurse Manager and Manager of Environmental Support Services as well as residents families and carers.
Molong is located in Cabonne in the Central Western region and is under 30 minutes from Orange. It has a range of retail and sporting facilities and is a vibrant and supportive community.
