Where you'll be working: Macquarie Hospital
What you'll be doing: An Allied Health Assistant (AHA) engages in basic patient care, clinical duties and/or administrative support under the supervision of the designated Allied Health Professional (AHP).
Clinical duties may include therapeutic and program related activities and the identification and reporting of changes in the client’s condition. The Allied Health Assistant may be engaged to work in a discipline specific area or assist in the delivery of allied health services across a multi-disciplinary team.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance or willingness to undertake this training or other qualification deemed equivalent by NSLHD.
- Demonstrate ability to complete administrative support, organisation for filing patient records and reports, gathering patient history and medical documents, coordinating and scheduling appointments.
- Competency in assisting multidisciplinary team clinical intervention under the supervision of allied health professionals.
