About the role:

Moree Community Health has an exciting opportunity for an Allied Health Assistant to join our team! This role will involve working with our Allied Health clinicians, including our Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy teams, in supporting clients to participate in care and promote independence.

You will work under the guidance and supervision of qualified allied health staff. Comprehensive onsite training and education will be provided, as well as the opportunity to access a range of external learning options.

Where you’ll be working:

Nestled in the stunning Gwydir Valley of northwest New South Wales, Moree is a peaceful town known for its rejuvenating atmosphere. Weekends can be spent indulging in the thermal springs at the Moree Artesian Aquatic Centre, or for those looking for more excitement, the Moree Water Park is a must-visit destination during the warmer months. Direct flights between Moree and Sydney operate six days a week for your convenience.

Moree Community Health is a supportive team facilitating and providing in-hospital, community and home care for clients in the Moree area.

About You:

We are looking for someone with strong communication skills, who is flexible and able to adapt to change. You should be willing to work across multiple teams, and enjoy working with people! We will train the right candidate on all aspects of the role.

Additional Information:

  • To be eligible for employment in this position you must be an Australian Citizen, or permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport, or hold an appropriate visa that allows you to live and work in Australia. Employment of a temporary visa holder will only be offered in line with the conditions and expiry date of your visa. 
  • An eligibility list will be created for future temporary full or part time vacancies.
