The Manager of Allied Health and Ambulatory Care Services is responsible for the effective management and coordination of Ambulatory care and Allied Health services at Griffith Base Hospital. 

The position will support system leadership and provide the strategic direction required to achieve equitable, effective and sustainable services that are responsive to community need.

The position reports directly to the Griffith Base Hospital General Manager, and directly line manages the Allied Health team across the Acute and Community settings.

Working with stakeholders within and external to MLHD (including other LHDs and key Government groups), the role will lead the implementation of strategies to advance the Allied Health Teams in areas such as clinical and financial governance, data and activity, service quality, workforce capacity, recruitment, and service accessibility / equity of care, with a focus on the implementation of contemporary, evidence-based, multi-disciplinary frameworks and models of care.
