Essential Criteria:
Registration: Current authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (APHRA)
Selection Criteria:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in management or working towards attainment in same, or extensive clinical experience in the field that demonstrates ability to perform the role.
- Recent and extensive management experience in senior nursing and/or health management within an acute care Health facility
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the principles of patient flow
- High level computer literacy including working knowledge of staff scheduling and patient flows systems
- Demonstrated ability to manage the utilisation of nursing resources in an effective and financially responsible manner
- Demonstrated high level interpersonal, communication, (written/oral which includes ability to complete briefs and proposals) conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrate understanding of current issues impacting on the nursing profession.
