About Us

Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District (NBMLHD) is a wonderful place to expand your career and grow your skills and knowledge. As a recognised leader in the healthcare industry, we provide a range of public health services to the Nepean, Blue Mountains, and Lithgow Region.

The Primary Care and Community Health Unit consists of 9 centres that provide a range of services for children, young people and their families, adults, older people and their carers. Our services range from health promotion, prevention and early detection through to assessment, treatment and continuing care. Our staff work in partnership with schools, GPs, hospitals, non-government agencies and other organisations to provide care across our centres, in people’s homes, other community venues as well as
virtual care (telehealth).

An opportunity for an Administration Officer to join the Transitional Aged Care Team in a Temporary Full time role is now available. This position is situated at our Lemongrove Campus until March 2026.

The community based NBMLHD Transitional Aged Care Program (TACP), authorised under the Aged Care Act 1997, provides individualised, goal orientated, time limited, slow stream therapy, case management, social work support, personal and domestic assistance, community access and respite to eligible frail and elderly clients on discharge from hospital. The aim of TACP is to enable optimisation of function which attempts to minimise the risk of readmission to hospital and premature placement to residential care.

Your role as the Administration Officer for TACP provides a range of Administrative and Clinical Support services to enable TACP to achieve their objectives in a timely, reliable and efficient manner.

If this is the kind of working environment for you and the opportunities excite you, please apply now!
