bout the role:

This administrative role will be working within a call centre answering phone calls to book appointments for clients/families and clinicians. requiring excellent communication skills.  

Day to day tasks include: 

  • Initial introduction of the CFHN service to families/clients via the telephone.
  • Assisting clinicians to manage and book their diaries.
  • Answering and redirecting enquiries received.
  • Working in a high volume, busy work environment.
  • The role will be supported by the Team leader in Central intake, Clerical Manager, NUM, CNC and NM.
  • Initially training for the position will commence immediately, following this there is the opportunity for ongoing training and skill development.

Where you will be working:

The successful candidate will be working as part of the dynamic Central intake team within the Child and Family Health Nursing Service working closely and supported by the Team Lead, Clerical Manager, NUM, CNC, and NM. The role is based at our Wallsend Health Campus.

As the successful candidate you will be organised, honest, and capable of providing frontline services to families and the multi-disciplinary team. You will have the ability to work closely with work colleagues both within Central intake and across the service along with flexibility to work across the many administrative roles within the service.
