What you'll be doing
Join our team as an Administration Officer (Ward Clerk) and play a vital role in supporting daily ward/unit operations, delivering high-quality admin services to staff, patients and visitors under the direction of the Nurse/Unit Manager.
- Provide admin support across wards and health facilities
- Interact with patients, staff and visitors in a courteous manner
- Manage patient data systems, filing and documentation
- Maintain a clean, welcoming reception and visitor area
- Assist with supplies, pharmacy deliveries and patient property

- Effective communication skills including accurate spelling, good comprehension, confidence in the spoken word and ability to deal confidently and courteously with people at all levels.
- Demonstrated experience in word processing, spreadsheet and database software.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Capacity to work under broad supervision and to undertake a diverse range of tasks as an effective member of a team in a high pressure, high volume work environment.
- Proven experience dealing with patients/Clients and their families/carers.
