About us:
Cessnock is located only a short distance away from the Hunter Valley vineyards and is the administrative centre of the City of Cessnock Local Government Area. It is a vibrant town, surrounded by countryside and full of affordable dinning and accommodation and home to the Cessnock District Hospital. It is a 64-bed facility that provides emergency, surgical and general medical care to the area’s growing population.


About the role:
As an Administration Officer, you will provide efficient and effective administrative/clerical service within Cessnock District Hospital, assisting the team to provide excellent care for every patient, every time.


About you:
Our successful candidate will have the ability to prioritise competing demands to ensure work outcomes are met. You will possess high-level customer service skills, be able to work independently, as well as within a multidisciplinary team environment and have excellent attention to detail including a high level of accuracy when working with a range of computer systems and processes. Experience working within a healthcare and/or hospital setting is required.
