The ideal candidate will have...

  • Medical Practitioner registered (or eligible for registration) with AHPRA and Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists and/or other specialist recognition as provided for in the Staff Specialist (State) Award. Attainment of a higher degree (PhD or MD) with established record as a leading academic authority in the profession of anaesthetics.
  • Demonstrated success in integrating and applying complex theoretical concepts so to advance translational research and professional practice in anaesthetics.
  • Evidence of a wide network of established relationships with key industry and professional institutions, partners and stakeholders that can be leveraged to enhance the standing of the Discipline and the Facility.
