Aboriginal Mental Health Clinician, Safeguards - Child And Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS) Response Team – MHS

Selection Criteria

1. To be a person of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent. Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander is a genuine occupational qualification and is authorised under Section 14(d) of the Anti-discrimination Act 1991.
2. Relevant tertiary qualifications in Clinical Psychology, Social Work and Occupational Therapy. Clinical Psychologists must have minimum postgraduate Masters in Clinical Psychology and current registration with AHPRA with endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist (or working towards endorsement). For Social Work, experience as a Level 2 clinician and eligibility for membership of AASW. Occupational Therapist must have current AHPRA registration and experience as a Level 2 clinician.
3. Demonstrated knowledge & skills in using evidence based, family-based intervention models
4. Demonstrated knowledge and skills in using family-based interventions models.
5. Extensive experience working with families from culturally and linguistically diverse populations.
6. Experience in providing mental health assessments and identifying and managing risk with children, adolescents and youth populations.
7. Experience in planning, implementation and reporting on quality improvement projects in support of clinical service development
8. Current NSW Driver's Licence with a willingness to travel in accordance with the demands of the position
