Selection Criteria
- Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Woman as authorised under Section 14(d) and 31 of the NSW Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 and with demonstrated understanding of Aboriginal culture.
- Demonstrated ability to engage and link women to Aboriginal specific services, as well as mainstream services.
- Demonstrated ability to advocate for Aboriginal Women and Families.
- Demonstrated ability to lead community development activities and engage Aboriginal women through women's reference groups or other consultative forums. This is aided by completion or willingness to undertake Certificate III/IV in Primary Health Care or equivalent.
- Able to provide parenting education in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated ability in data collection processes and computer literacy.
- Demonstrated understanding of issues relating to privacy and confidentiality.
- NSW Class C Drivers Licence.
