Public Sexual Health Nurse (RN2-8 / CNS2) - PFT - Wellington & North West North Region

1. Current authority to practice as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia and a current NSW Drivers Licence.
2. Three years full-time clinical experience working in the related field and post graduate qualifications in the specialty
3. Demonstrated advanced knowledge and experience in management of patients with blood borne viruses, sexually transmissible infections, complex sexual health and/or hepatitis needs and proven skills in clinical teaching.
4. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
5. Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills, together with high level computer literacy and understanding of patient administration systems
6. Demonstrated understanding of adult education principles and identification of the education needs of staff and patients
7. Current NSW driver’s license and the ability to travel within NSW to health centres as required.
8. Demonstrated understanding and commitment to the values of the Justice Health & Forensic Mental Health Network.
