- MBBS or equivalent, currently registered with the Medical Board of Australia.
- At least two years’ recent experience working as a medical practitioner in Australia.
- Demonstrated experience and expertise to practise as a Junior Medical Officer in medical informatics including relevant research and current (or working toward) higher qualification e.g. Master of Health Management, Master of Digital Health, CHIA Digital Health Certification.
- Current or previous clinical experience with digital clinical information systems including Cerner Millenium, Epic Systems, electronic Medications Management, and virtual models of care.
- Previous experience with health informatics implementations, delivering related training, and demonstrated understanding of the issues relating to clinical information systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact and influence effectively, develop productive working relationships with a wide range of individuals and interest groups, and prepare high-quality briefing documents and presentations.
- Demonstrated strong analytical and organisational skills and the ability to work independently and in a team as required.
- Demonstrated understanding of change management and clinical redesign processes.
