The NSW Organ and Tissue Donation Service is the state-wide NSW Health agency responsible for increasing organ and tissue donation for transplantation in NSW. Each year the lives of thousands of Australians are transformed through organ and tissue transplants however more donors are needed for the 1,650 Australians on organ transplant waiting lists at any one time. What you'll be doing
The Retrieval Technician is responsible for participating in an on-call roster to conduct deceased eye and tissue retrievals at NSW forensic facilities, hospital mortuaries and operating suites as appropriate, and for supporting associated administrative functions including stock management, maintenance of the living donor program, and quality management tasks.
