Sterilisation Technician
We are looking for enthusiastic, highly self-motivated people to come and join our dedicated team of Sterilisation Technicians. We offer on job training and ongoing workplace competency education.

Ryde Hospital
Ryde Hospital is having an incredible $479 million complete hospital redevelopment that will transform the delivery of healthcare for the Ryde local community.
The Ryde Hospital Redevelopment will result in new health facilities and enhanced services including emergency, ICU/critical care, inpatient units, outpatient/ambulatory care services and much more.
Construction commenced in early 2023, and will provide you with a wonderful and exciting opportunity to be part of the Ryde team to change the future health services for the Ryde Community completely.
What you'll be doing
To work in all areas of the Sterilising Services to maintain the high standards in all processes involved with sterilisation and other procedures performed within the unit as well as acknowledging the service contribution to patient care.
The reprocessing of reusable Medical Devices (RMD’s) used in Health Services Organisations, (HSO’s) adhering to AS/NZS 4187:2014.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Completion of an accredited Certificate in Sterilisation Technology at TAFE.
- Experience in a sterilising department environment.
- Ability to function harmoniously within a team environment.
- Demonstrated understanding of the principles of Workplace Health & Safety, and principles of Infection Control.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy of patients and staff, at all times.
