The Role
The Staff Health Clinical Nurse Consultant will oversee the delivery of a range of key services to support staff to work in a safe environment:
- Work with managers of facilities/services to ensure OASV compliance
- Coordinate the Justice Health NSW Respiratory Protection Program
- Manage administration of vaccinations for staff in the network. Provide expert advice to minimise vaccination hesitancy.
- Conduct OASV assessments to ensure timely completion of assessments.
- Support staff in the education and/or guidance of key infection prevention and control principles such as donning/doffing PPE and provide leadership in infection prevention and control principles
