About the role:
As a social worker at Quirindi Community Hospital, every day is unique! This role will see you work within a team environment to provide assessments and manage caseloads for diverse client issues. You will meet with clients and their caregivers, listen to their concerns, and help create plans to better support them in managing their challenges. You will also assist with plans to keep clients safe and take action to protect them where necessary.

To aid your success in this role, a comprehensive orientation will take place, and you will be provided with all of the necessary information required to perform the role.

Where you'll be working:
Known as the 'nest in the hills', Quirindi is located in the picturesque Liverpool Plains, less than an hours' drive from Tamworth. The town is surrounded by stunning landscapes and picture-perfect sunflower fields.

Quirindi Health Service incorporates Quirindi Hospital and HealthOne Quirindi, which provides General Practice and Community Health services on site. These services all work in partnership to provide patient-centred and coordinated care to the local Liverpool Plains community.

You will work within our broader Allied Health team as well as our clinical team within the hospital. Our team are supportive and eager to welcome you!

About you:
We are looking for someone who is compassionate, respectful and genuine in their care of others.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor in Social Work or equivalent with eligibility for membership with Australian Association of Social Work (AASW), or other qualification deemed equivalent by the employer.
